Troubleshooting

Browsers with ad blockers and privacy extensions may cause a conflict when creating an account, resulting in an error screen. To resolve this:

  1. Add an exception for totaleto.zendesk.com to your ad blockers and privacy extensions. Refer to your ad blocker's support page for instructions.
  2. Enable third-party cookies from totaleto.zendesk.com on your browser. Refer to your browser's support page for instructions.

Hover Text

Sometimes you will see a word in italics with a hand icon in front of it. This means that you can hover your mouse over it to get more details. This is used to offer more explanation of a term or to identify the default term that clients often change in the system, such as  machine.

Search the Help Center

When you search the help center, results are returned from the content of guides and posted comments. Search returns ranked on relevance such as exact matches, the frequency of the search terms in a guide, and the number of helpful votes. The search field is available on all pages of the Help Center.

Get an Instant Answer

When you type a question into the Help Center search bar and click enter, our AI Answer Engine will attempt to provide an instant answer based on existing guides and articles. This feature helps you:

  • Get quick answers without browsing multiple guides.
  • See suggested content that matches your question.
  • Continue to full search if the AI response doesn’t fully resolve your issue.

If the Quick Answer successfully answered your question, give it a thumbs up to help improve future responses.
If the it cannot find a suitable answer, you can still view the full search results or try a different question.

Note: For best results, use clear action words like "define", "explain", or "describe" when asking questions.

Instant Search

Instant search is used when you first start typing in the search field. As you type, guide titles that match your search appear. Keep typing to reduce the list of guides. You can select any result to go directly to the guide without going to the search results page. If you don't see any results that fit your criteria, press Enter to turn the search into a full search.

  • Uses a partial word search
  • Includes titles only, no body text or labels

Full Search

Use full search to find specific results. Full search is used when you type into the search field and then select Enter. Search results appear as a list on the search results page.

  • Uses full word search, not a partial word search
  • Includes titles, body text, and labels

Exact Match

Use double quotes (") to find exact matches. You can use this on multiple words to find content that contains all of those words. Make sure you put spaces between the search terms. For example, "part" "machine" "find" retrieves content that contains all three words, in any order.
